Science in China: Information Sciences
Special Issue on Control Science and Engineering
Call for Papers
Control science is an indispensable part in the research field of information sciences. It plays a crucial role in scientific endeavor and engineering practice, from agricultural production to aerospace engineering, from mechanical engineering to life science, and from traffic management and transportation systems to large-scale scientific experiments like the recent completed giant particle accelerator near Geneva, Switzerland. Recent years have witnessed new breakthroughs in control science, both in theory and applications. Control science has attracted more and more attention from the researchers in different scientific disciplines.
The goal of this special issue is to report on some of the recent frontier work in control science and to promote the communication and potential collaboration among researchers in the field. Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to,
l Optimal control and decision
l Theory and methods of system identification
l Nonlinear systems and control
l Robust and adaptive control
l Distributed systems and control
l Time delay systems and networked control
l Multiagent systems
l Fault detection and fault-tolerant control
Prospective authors should prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the Science in China: Information Sciences format and submit the PDF version of their complete manuscripts online according to the instructions given at http://info.SciChina.com.
